Gregory Hyde

Gregory R. Hyde is a member of the Northern Colorado Writers Workshop (NCWW).  An Advanced Translations Engineer for a 9-11 telecom company by trade (after a long career as a mental health professional), he's been a finalist in the Writers of the Future contest and has seven honorable mentions in the St. Martin's Years Best Fantasy and Horror anthology. He's also appeared in the anthologies High Fantastic and Christmas Magic—A collaboration with Wil McCarthy, as well as the magazine Midnight Graffiti. A recovering altar Boy from rural SE Michigan—where he was raised in a one-room schoolhouse with 5 sisters, 2 brothers and one bathroom—his fiction tends to be dark and foreboding. Go figure. His last short story collection Ezra by the Pound was published  by Silver Lake Publishing in 2006. Some of his dark-ish, alternate-universe fiction can be found as ebooks on Amazon.
