Daniel Dvorkin

Daniel Dvorkin, a joint production of David and Leonore Dvorkin Productions, has served as an Army infantryman and an Air Force medic. He recently completed his Ph.D. in bioinformatics, which was harder than anything the military threw at him including Desert Storm. His most recent novel, Dawn Crescent (with David Dvorkin) was published in 2003 by Wildside Press. Harry Turtledove says, "Engaging characters and fast-paced writing make Dawn Crescent a real pleasure." Previous fiction publications include the Star Trek: The Next Generation novel, The Captains' Honor (also with David Dvorkin), and a few short pieces in magazines which went out of business shortly after publishing his stories. Nonfiction publications include a number of scholarly articles, findable by searching for "Dvorkin D" at http://pubmed.gov, in journals which will hopefully continue to publish for years to come. He lives in Denver with his fiancée  Rebecca Lee and their cat Raven, and is employed as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Colorado's Altitude Research Center. Yes, fellow Primeval fans, that means he works at the ARC.
